My father told me I should shave my armpits and I used to do it. But I found it irritated my skin and it made them sore and itchy, so after awhile I stopped doing it and have never regretted it. I suppose if I had been really hairy it might have made sense, but frankly I think it's unnecessary. Plus I think a boy or guy is much more sexy with some hair in their pits. Just my 2 cents.
