I've entered one of my stories into a contest for which I could actually win some money. I'd never heard of the website before, but was contacted by them after they had read one of my stories on Nifty.org. They invited me to enter into the contest where the top prize was a $100, grading down to a 10th prize of $10. (The prizes are actually gift certificates from Amazon.) The theme for this contest is "Forbidden".

I have read about and talked to many people who have "come out", I do not understand the need for it. Perhaps in the past it was indeed important to do so but today I just dont see it. When you go to a party do str8 people announce themselves as str8? I think not so why is it important to announce your sexuality to the masses? Please do not misunderstand my point, I am not saying hide. I am just saying I do not understand why it is so important to go out waving my private parts at the crowd and screaming "I fuck boys".
