I wanted to say that I got on the other day and seen alot of disrespectful comments made in the blogs between each of you! This should be a friendly and supportive web site. I never in my 24 yrs of life have seen such hatred comments made toward someone. We are adults and should act that way with out resorting to disrespect and very terrible language. Anyway my fervent Christmas wish is that the people in the USA take a 180 degree turn and restrict the use of firearms to those with a proper use for them. We did that here in Australia some years ago. Now I know I will offend many in the USA but to claim that the answer to the problem by the NRA is to arm the schools. That is obscene in the worst possible way. They claim that the second amendment gives evryone the right to bare arms. It doesnt. As the amendment says in 1791 that you have the right to bare arms for a well regulated militia. This situation no longer exists therefore the right does not exist.
Anyway that is my rant for the day.

Well GBT world....I am still alive. It has been two days and I didn't respond to everyone because of classes and because I needed some time to myself to reflect and try to come to an understanding with my life. Firstly, I want to thank everyone here on GBT....you've saved a life. From exchanging phone numbers....comments...messages...I got the motivation to stay alive. Thank you to those who I have spoken to and for everyone's messages of hope....there is a God out there and somehow he got into all of you and me...to save my own life before it was too late. Ran into a friend of mine today at the local Wal-Mart. We talked for a good half an hour about many things, but the one minute topic we got onto about gay people really struck me.<br /><br />We started talking about the Loony Toons from the Westboro Baptist Church picketing gay funerals and such, and she said something that made me laugh:<br /><br />"I don't hate gay people. They just have something wrong with their head."<br /><br />I have been attracted to boys since I was 13. There is nothing wrong with me. And there is nothing wrong with you. Nobody in my world knows how I feel because I happen to like girls as well so I have sucessfully been able to mask it for a long time. It is ignorance that drives people to hide who they are. It is ignorance that makes LBGT kids want to kill themselves because they start believing the comments about something being wrong with them.<br /><br />I sit here and imagine what my friend would have said if I came out and told her that I have wanted to ride boys since I was 13. (Okay, I wouldn't have said it quite that way, but still...)<br /><br />What a world we live in.

I don't know what you think of what she did by exposing government material on Wikileaks, but it seems to me that she's been made a scapegoat, and treated shabbily.
