I posted this video because I think it is very important for gays of all ages to know how difficult life can be for many gays, especially younger ones. I know guys visit Gay Boys Tube primarily for the porn, but there are a growing number who have found friendship and peer support here. They mostly are guys who post regularly on the walls of Rus17 and Toby19. We are each so very different. Some of us are strong and can handle being bullied. Others of us are not as strong, and cannot. I urge you not to judge others by the standards you have set for yourself. Victims of bullying often cannot stand up for themselves. It is just not part of who they are. Too many people in the world hate all of us who prefer guys. I hope each and every one of us can avoid being haters. Those of us who are stronger need to stand up to bullying whenever and wherever we see it, and also to let the victims of bullying know that they do have friends who care enough to stand up for them. I am approaching my 75 th birthday, this video although sad, would have been better served, if had content aimed at the bullies. I myselth was terribley bullied as a child, abused by older brother and step father. Put into care, (made a ward of the court) at age 11 till 18, best thing that happened to me. I never thought of suicide, I became a very hard young man, learnt to use my sexuality. Its a pity Kenneth, took the cowards option, some of the blame, should be put on his friends and relatives Its a pity Kenneth never had love and support of same, he would have got through , his ordeal with help and still be here today. you may message me direct with your complaints ianspain

i was a bully in school :( I would bully kids to hide the fact that I was gay, some friends of mine helped me change my ways and now I am out and proud. I dont know what I would do If I drove someone to do what poor kenneth did, My heart goes out to his sister and the rest of his family. Thank you RD for pasting this video

please don't get me wrong i was kinda bullied in high school however people had no idea i was gay :) bulling don't happen to people just cause they are gay they happen cause we allow it to. if u are being bullied well find a pitch fork and go after them hell what do u have to loose right. anyway he looked as thou he was a very good looking young man which i am sure had lots of friends so where were they all at. i can assume they were fake friends and i know all about that. if they really were his real friends they would have been there for him and he would still be alive today. anyway the vid was very sad. and sorry to see another young man take his life cause he couldn't handle the fact that he was gay. shameful that in todays society it is still like that.

this video makes me feel very sad and even more so because its not the first one of this kind,
and to all the people who knew this sweet boy why did they not stand up or even somehow tell this dude

Hah i didn't even stand up to the bullies. Just ignored it. It died down by my junior year. Kids need to not be so spoiled and sensitive. Get a hobby. At school I was in music galore. always doing stuff after school. Just need to do something to ignore everyone.

@ angelon7 i dont think iam going to be mad at you or criticize you at least you do the right thing you are a strong person and stood up for yourself and you are not weak not some other kids and i feel so sad for those who died because of the bullying and i know people shouldnt being bullied and being hurt by someone. coz the only things this kids they are not strong enough they are weak they only think about themselves but they didnt realized is they also hurt the family and friends who loves them. So for all the people there if you are being bullied you better stood up for yourself and confronts the bullies and tell them enough is enough...

OK I know I am going to get a lot of negative criticism but I really need to let this out. These kids whom we feel sorry for killing themselves are simply retarded. I was bullied my whole life, had no friends at all, was teased for being gay and all that other shit. But in the end I went thru life never thought about killing myself and if anything just prayed. I prayed and prayed for a better life and sure enough it did get better. I have a lot of friends now a loving BF and it makes my childlife like it never existed. Instead of feeling sad we should just get mad because they should not be doing this it's pathetic. Get bullied and move on. Kids are just following other kids it's like a fucking trend now. So ya criticize me all you want. Some of you might think twice and agree. Feel sorry for the familes because these kids are doing a terrible selfish act.
