Monochrome Soul
Monochrome to them, yet where I find life's hues,
Would you still love a world devoid of color's muse?
Or would it appear dull, melancholic, and pale
A somber canvas, where the light has withdrawn?
But what if we had never glimpsed colors at all,
And shades of black, white, and gray were our all?
Our worlds would then revolve in this muted art,
Finding beauty, glimmer, and peace in every part.
Just when I close my eyes, I see this vision clear,
A vibrant world, at times, seems strange, austere.
In those moments, i seek a room dark and still,
Where a void of nothingness brings me a tranquil thrill.
Each shade reveals its own unique view
In monochrome, a spectrum of life rings true.
For where their world ends in shades of gray,
My world finds colors in the monochrome's sway
