Those of us that have been here a long time, know that this is Mike's most reincarnation of himself on GBT. For he has been here much longer. But today it is 1,000 days as Marshmont....Congratulations Mike....may the karma of this stay give you good things in your next reincarnation.
Practically everyone was surprised at the Presidential election results because the polls indicated entirely different results. But maybe the polls were right after all and the results were actually wrong.
If you've seen the Robin Williams movie, "Man of the Year", you could see how this could have happened. In that movie, Williams, a talk show host and comedian, is 'elected' President because of a glitch in the election software. Everyone accepts the election results until one of the software's programmers comes forward and admits there was a glitch in the software that resulted in Williams election.
So what if the Russians inserted some malware in some of our election programs that resulted in some of Clinton's votes winding up in Trump's column - or maybe there was just some glitch in the software like in the movie. So hopefully, Jill Stein and her organization will find some problems in the Wisconsin vote and then in Michigan and Pensylvania elections to cast doubts on the accuracy of the election results.
We don't need daffy Donald in the White House. As Clinton said, he's Putin's puppet - and persoally I think there's a lot of truth in that.
I had the unpleasant experience of chatting with an interesting guy. We were chatting and I sent a response ... and waited...and waited...and waited. I left, pissed off that my time had been wasted. There are different reasons that a person would just leave in the middle of a convo. He could have dropped dead. Maybe he had to take a quick dump. Maybe he was sitting there naked and his mommy came in on him. If it can be helped, please give the other party notice that you have to leave. brb, brb5, brb10, gotta go ttyl, rent here. If this happens to me again I will wait there for 2 min's, if you don't come back I'm gone. If we just met that will probably be the last convo we have. Does anyone have any gripe to add? I'm thinking all caps are a pain. Sorry if I took someone's idea. Ha Thanks, I had to vent.

So, this is my first blog post.
Earlier, I found that I had my first wall post from another user!
Up until now, I've been very quiet and I've kept to myself. I'm a VERY shy person... but I'm also a total freak deep down inside. For a long time, I was far too shy to try to add friends. However... recently I've been thinking about trying to open up. Even if I've been very quiet, GBT has been something of a home for me for several years.
So, we'll see! Now that I'm faving, maybe I'll eventually come out of my shell enough to upload. Feel free to add me as a friend, or even chat with me if you like.
Oh, and don't hate on my name. People do that, and its always a matter of misunderstood context! ;)
Are any of you geeking out as much as I am about the new Star Trek series that is coming? The trailer dropped earlier and is on YouTube. I'm curious how it will turn out. I know the trailer's already a bit controversial within the fan community.
