How long does it take to approve an avatar?

Any wall or profile change is approved by monitors who cover the site by time zones. At the very most any avatar or background change should be handled within maximum 24 hours. There's a good chance that approvals are processed within 8-12 hours.

Contacting monitors is best done directly, and addressed to whomever is in your time zone.

Ah, sadly that's not possible. The only way you can effect such a change is to create a new account with your preferred user name, make a list of images or videos you wish to keep, and ask a friendly monitor (ahem!) to delete your former account, and start over.

Star ratings are given by visitors to your wall. Furthest to the left is the lowest duodecile (20% or parts thereof), furthest to the right is the highest (max 100%). The same goes for rating picture albums or videos. If you like what you've seen, rate it accordingly.

"This is a user-side problem. Try a full reload (ctrl + F5), if that doesnt help try a different browser: If it works there it is a codec issue in the other browser (e.g. outdated or Safari). Next step is to clear cache. If it is still not working disble then re-enable hardware acceleration, it might be a driver problem.
