The point of an adult porn site is to provide adult content to other adults. By definition, an adult porn site cannot provide under-aged material. No kids. That's the line that is drawn in law.

The law doesn't mention nudity, it doesn't mention height, weight, build, beauty, gender identity, tribal affiliations, cropped or blurred images - it mentions age, only age, so GPT and its members must be careful.

There are outside interests - and not just Church Ladies - gunning for GPT. The Religious Right and ethical investment blocs in banking and finance sectors are skewing the world to their will by denial of financial services to non-binary organisations or companies, held over by surveillance.

So, a fully clothed kid accompanied by a fully clothed (female) police officer in the middle of a mainstream commercial space with the parents still wouldn't cut it. There are to be no kids on an adult porn site. None.

                                                                                  You know this already.

Just a note to clarify,

If you insist on submitting underage images as avatars for approval, don't be surprised if your wall undergoes further scrutiny to see what else you may have there.

Online pornography traffic plummets in UK after law change, and Australia is next

The number of people accessing prominent pornography websites in the United Kingdom has plummeted after new age-verification laws — that are also heading to Australia — were introduced earlier this year.

Since July, people in the UK wanting to view pornography online must prove they are over 18 by uploading identity documents, sharing credit card details or taking a selfie that uses facial-recognition technology to estimate their age.

The measures, which aim to stop children from seeing potentially harmful content, have had a dramatic impact on traffic to the biggest adult sites in Britain, according to data analytics firm Similarweb.

Pornhub, the UK's most-visited pornography site, experienced a nearly 50 per cent drop in traffic — or more than 1 million visitors — after it was forced to introduce the age checks on July 25. Xvideos, another popular site, was down 47 per cent in the same period.

The UK media regulator, Ofcom, estimated in its 2023 report that 14 million people in the country had accessed pornography online that year, which represented 29 per cent of adult internet users.

Websites that ignore the new UK laws could be fined up to $36.5 million, or 10 per cent of their global revenue.

But while major pornography sites have implemented the age checks, some smaller websites have not.

"As we've seen in many jurisdictions around the world, there is often a drop in traffic for compliant sites and an increase in traffic for non-compliant sites," a spokesperson for PornHub said.

But there has also been a surge in the use of apps that disguise a user's location in the UK, since the introduction of the new laws.

Ofcom said platforms must not host, share or permit content encouraging use of virtual private network (VPN) apps to get around age checks.

VPNs became the most downloaded on Apple's App Store in the UK in the days after the age verification rules were enforced.

"It's likely that the majority of people who have downloaded VPNs are adults and they're doing this to get around their age requirements. Regardless, there is friction which is making it harder for children to view harmful content."

Australia is set to introduce similar restrictions before the end of the year.

Australia is on the path towards introducing age verification laws, with the federal government funding a $6.5 million trial of technology designed to protect children online.

From March 9 next year, websites that have the highest risk of enabling children to access or be exposed to pornography will need to implement age assurance measures for people in Australia.

That will be expanded to include search engine services from June 2027.

Millions of Australians could be pressed to hand over their data in exchange for access to social media, online porn or gaming, under an age verification scheme.

But the scheme won't only affect children — if it goes ahead, people of all ages will have to prove they're old enough to access certain content.

It means people in Australia will likely have to verify their age when signing into profiles on web browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, before they can access adult sites.

It's been labelled a "porn passport" by the digital rights group Electronic Frontiers Australia (EFA). "It essentially requires anyone to establish their age [in order] to access a website providing adult content," EFA chair John Pane said.

"So, by default, we're regulating the rest of the adult public in an endeavour to restrict access by minors."

"It's a fundamental invasion of privacy … [and] we do have a right to remain anonymous in public spaces," Mr Pane said.

The trial was initially framed in terms of underage porn use and unspecified "online harms", but the government has since broadened its focus to social media and gaming.

The Australian government said a trial of its age assurance measures found geolocation technology could help detect when someone was trying to mask their real location through a VPN.

If you have a Tax File Number, you are an (economic) adult. If you don't, you are not. But do you want your government checking your credentials? Or Big Tech? Either way, you will be forced to choose unless the age-verification industry comes up with an acceptable mechanism.

Jeremy Sumpter, actor born 1989, was 14 when Peter Pan was released in 2003. He was 18 - thus legal for this site - when he was cast in An American Crime (2007). Nothing referring to him before this year can be posted.

Even social media sites recognise this, as does he:
