I admit that I’m new to GBT—or I should say, I had a profile before but lost it along the way. I'm currently a psychology graduate student looking for information on fetishes. I'm looking for anyone willing to share their experiences or insights into why they might feel attracted to a particular fetish. This is purely for learning and understanding; I’m not soliciting, and I won’t use anyone's name or personal details. Some thoughts are; How did you first realize you had this fetish? What do you feel about yourself with this fetish?
I’m also hoping to learn a bit about myself in the process, as I have a few fetishes of my own, including an interest in dirty underwear and jockstraps or athletic gear. I am not sure when this started, probably noticed my attraction to these things around the time I discovered my sexuality. I think it began in a locker room, probably around sometime in my early teen years. There’s something intriguing about the garment’s structure, the way it looks, the way it smells before and after. I could never fully explain what a rush it gave me to sniff or to wear one after it has been used.

Please, define "fetish." Do you mean kink (activities you yourself find perverse), perv (activities others find perverted but you enjoy or think you'd enjoy), or the clinical definition (cannot get sexually aroused unless particular paraphernalia or activity is present)? CQ
