Mop, I think you did it. I have used a magnifying glass along with my readers and I'm convinced. The sign in the bottom pic would fit perfectly in the long rectangle just below the upper windows to the left. The vertical designs above the lower windows (4 3 3 3 4) are correct. Even the slight outward jut of the building towards the right looks accurate. In the top pic I wish I could see some individual brick with the magnifying glass. Judging from the way the children are dressed it looks like it must have been a school and not a factory.
I can't read the wording on the sign well enough to use a translator. So do you know what it is? Don't make me lose sleep tonight.

The first one is what I typed into translate, the second on is how it translated. However during translation the words dairy and comrade came up and then disappeared

so im not a detective but just tried to piece information together to find out the answer to a question using the tools to hand - the landscape is similar the architecture is similar but hey guess i was lucky to find 4 photos on line that seem to match but without going to germany and exploring local archives i shall never know for certain if this is the place

You may have something in just the chimney pic but where's the rest of the bldg immediately surrounding the chimney? Maybe time has played a part but it could be that the chimney style was standard for whatever purpose it was built for. Now you've really put the bug up my ass over finding this and it's frustrating.
I've seen a lot of close but no cigars. I definitely do not want to fall asleep thinking about this building, a lot of nightmares for sure. It's like a maddening quest looking for something you've set down and it disappears. You know it's not under the postage stamp on the envelope but you have to look anyway.

continuing my search for this building I searched the internet for derelict buildings and chimneys in germany and in mecklenburg vorpommern assuming that this building still remained after thiry years of this image in a video ... no luck after spending hours looking at photos of decaying buildings i had to give one last try
so to re think it was in a rural setting - grassland and woods so must be agricultural and out side of any town the nearest clue was the polish distillery but i thought it must be in easy distance of Schwerin and Ludwigslust so i would search google maps / earth saterllite imagery and scoure this region

i have often wondered about this ruin - derelict factory in a rural landscape that features in a number of vintage german porn films on GBT - what was it ? where was it located and did it still exist ?
the building / location features in a number of films -
so i went on a journey of exploration via the internet to find out more .......
well where to start ? random internet searches then refined - gay porn sites - wikipedia - vintage german film producers - ruined buildings in germany - chimneys in mecklenburg vorpommeron - east germany - image search - google maps and street view - german english translate apps and so on ... took me months on and off but i was able to narrow down my search ........
this was to be my search area -
why here ? well the producer Bleisch was a german writer and filmmaker - you can find his biography on wikipedia and else where - his films were made arround the cities of Schwerin , Ludwigslust and Wismar - using various locations in the ruins, woods, lakes and beaches in the region of Mecklenburg - Vorpommern. The films were made 30 years ago in the mid 1990`s just a few years after the reunification of germany in a region of what had been part of the DDR East Germany so i wasn`t sure i could locate this building or any of the other locations in these films but using google maps ,photo image search , street view satellite imageary and wikipedia etc i thought i would give it a go - i was surprised but it took a long time .....
i thought the chimney would be the key so searched all over looking at german chimneys -ruined and abandonded factories .... it wasnt easy i thought this ruin could have been bulldozed and swept away but one thing i learnt is that germans love abandonded places and graffiti and if a building is no good and not in the way just let it decay - so i just had to search another way - it was in a rural setting so was it a farm building and not a factory ....... and what rural building would have a chimney ?
doing a photo image search i came up with a ruin of a polish distillery - not quite the location but ?

and this might have been another clue but could not clearly read the letters on the sign above the windows ..
only now do i see a clue in the sign - after i figured it out - a hint `Raduh....`
