Posting An Image/Picture And/Or Vid To A Wall Or Blog
NEW WAY TO POST AN IMAGE ON A WALL OR BLOG:
Copy and paste the image directly to the box and press post.
The image must still come from a website--not your comp, but you no longer need a URL/Image Address to post pics.
POSTING AN IMAGE/PICTURE:
1. Copy the image address (URL) from a website.
2. Click on the 3rd image from the right in the menu that looks like a mountain.
3. Post image address in the "Source" area.
4. Click on the "Image description" area.
5. Click "Ok."
6. Click "Post."
POSTING A VID TO A WALL OR BLOG:
1. Copy the embed/share code from a site. (Many, but not all, sites have embed codes for a vid. Some sites list it as "Share." This is NOT the URL.)
2. Click the "Formats" box on GBT's "POST" box.
3. Click the 2nd icon from the right next to the emoji icon.
4. Paste the embed/share code into the box that appears.
5. Click "OK."
6. Click "POST."
Practice on your wall until you get the hang of it. Msg me if you have questions.
Note: You cannot post images saved to your comp/phone; you have to UL them to a host site 1st.

There is a quick fix to many problems when posting to this site: clear your browsing history and restart your phone/computer. This takes care of 90% of posting issues. CQ
The site's speed varies widely depending on usage. If you're having trouble posting, you might think about coming on at a different time. CQ
MOST tumblr images do not show up on GPT unless opened in a new tab. It's best to copy them, UL them to a hosting site, then post them on here. CQ
Wall and blog posts still disappear randomly. PMs disappearing again randomly. What's going on? CQ
I give up, I can't post . so that's that.
Have you tried deleting your browsing history and restarting your phone/comp? Or checking your VPN settings?

You may be copy/pasting from sites that don't permit that, or that GPT doesn't permit linking with.
Try posting pics from GPT and see if they work. That will narrow down the problem. CQ
It appears that images from other websites do not directly post onto walls anymore. Or is it just me? CQ

Yes, the site's undergoing some problems.
Possible causes:
1) Cloudflare problems,
2) Site under attack,
3) Server problems.
Take your pick; the results are the same.

Updating your header or adding/deleting images to it now requires site approval. That is, expect a long wait if you're trying to get fancy, a shorter wait if it's straightforward changes.

changing your header makes it disappear for some minutes--15-30. adding or deleting images on your header? DON'T DO IT!!! You may lose your header for good. CQ

It started happening a few months ago, and as things "get fixed" and have unintended (or intended) consequences, one change is that only GPT and YouTube vids are acceptable, postable vids.
BFTV, PH and SendVid vids do not post except in DM/PMs (this too may have changed). I'm not sure of other sites. Additionally, gifs from redgifs are verboten.
This is not the answer you probably wanted, but it is how it stands as of now.

automeros had this problem and I recreated it myself, so maybe you can answer: why won't the embed code for a video on p0rn hub show up when embedded in a message posted on a member's wall? Are PH videos somehow restricted, either by them or by GPT? Or, is there some other reason they won't show up?

I tired again just now and, although the video shows up in the message box just before you click on "Post", the posted message box is blank. Thanks!

There's a simple fix for when this happens:
1. Clear your browsing history.
2. Restart your comp or phone.
That takes care of the problem for me. It's a bit annoying, but effective.
