My boyfriend is 22yo I am 60yo we have been together for over 2 years His Mom has known we lived together but only just found out that we've been together as a couple well needless to say she just lost it on me and has taken him away from me. He and I are in love and have talked about being together for as long as we are both alive we've even talked of marriage, he wants kids with a surrogate and wants me to raise them with him. His mother gave him and his 2 brothers up into foster care when he was 5yo there were reports that she abused the boys and so needless to say I can't stand the woman but now she has taken him away from me and I don't know what to do.

Love prevails. My boyfriend came back home to me a little over a week ago. We have never been happier.

Jesus Christ, if he is 22 and his mother has taken him away from you then I doubt he is mentally stable enough to be involved with you, a man old enough to be his grandfather. I mean, let's be real.

I still haven't heard anything, and I don't know what to do. I think I will try and find out where he is and talk to him. I need to know what he wants me to do. It's not right that he hasn't contacted me so I guess I have to make that move so that I can move on with my life.

If your friend is a 22 year old adult then why doesn't he walk out her door and back into yours? He should tell her to stay out of his life now like she choose to do for most of his life. There must be more to the story that you haven't disclosed otherwise he should be able to make up his own mind and make his decisions for himself.

I can understand that Mom is not happy, but your friend is 22, so an adult. His mother has no right to tell him what to do, he is leagally entitltled to live his own life. Just let him come back to you, when he doesn't dare or want that, he is likely not the one for you. I would say: fuck Mom!!
