As a youngin' I was sporting a heavy dose of freckles and as we say in the USA, I had red hair. "Rather be dead than red on the head", "Carrot top", "freckle face", "Sunkist". So no I'm not fond of freckles.
Jump ahead to my thirties until now and my hair browned up then went away completely. Freckles faded away, too. Can't splain it. Today I sport a freckle free face (say that 10 times) and a smooth shaved head.
Sorry, way too many freckled faced gingers in my family. It would seem almost like incest looking at porn pictures of freckled gingers. Luckily, I neither have freckles or ginger hair.
