I would not worry much about Religions, the only way to know if God exists or not ... is by dying and the later we know it, the better

Hatred is a learned phenomena past on from one generation to the next. Its like kids growing up and playing in a mixed racially diverse group. Their feeling for white, black and brown kids is tempered from what they learn at home.  

It's not just "Who is God" but also how his word is spread. I had a religious question I wanted an answer too. So I called my sister in-law who is a pretty staunch Catholic. Oh I know now what it was. I was reading the Bible to better understand it's contents and I came across something that had me confused so I called her. She said she didn't know because they read the Catholic Bible which was a bit different from the version I was reading. That was an eye opener for me as I had no idea there were different versions of Bibles out there. I found out there is The Book of Mormon which is different, I found out that Allah is the same God as most recognize and that the Koran is closer to "The Bible" then you'd imagine. I used to have deep discussions with my old boss who was raised a strict Jew, she can eat as much bacon/pork as I can so I asked her if she wasn't afraid of having to pay for the sin of eating the BLT she had for lunch and going to Hell for it. She said "Jews don't believe in Hell and don't have the concept of sin." I said "well how do you atone for any wrong doings?" Her answer was "Guilt, We have to suffer from lots of guilt." Well Holy Shit that was like flicking on a light bulb. If you do believe in a God and want to get into Heaven then just pick a religion that suits your life choices and there's your free pass from Saint Peter, your "Get out of jail free card".

I ask who is god as there are 4200 regions so do 4200 have gods and do some off the regions want to kill gays as some do

God was created by man.

The laws of physics led to everything that ended up creating a life form with a brain complicated enough to experience wondering and questions and seek answers to those questions spurred by the wondering. With no scientific knowledge to answer those questions, God is the product of man's imagination. Man created the different religions, each infinitely better then the next and worth killing for all in the name of their God. Funny how most of them all worship the same loving and forgiving God.

God is gravity. Gravity pulled together hydrogen in the early universe to create super massive Black Holes which created gravity wells around which matter began circling. And as matter circled, denser clouds of hydrogen began collapsing due to their combined gravity and became stars. The stars began fusing hydrogen into helium, helium into carbon, carbon into heavier elements until they started fusing iron then the star exploded fusing even heavier elements and scattering the debris throughout the universe. Gravity then pulled the debris together forming planets around a newly formed star. And where the condition were right, life formed in the primordial chemical soup powered by electromagnetic radiation from the sun and cosmic rays. If there was no gravity there would have been no super massive black holes. If there had been no super massive black holes there would have been no galaxies. If there had been no galaxies there would have been no stars. If there had been no stars there would have been no planets, If there had been no planets there would have been no people. Gravity is the cause of all creation. And gravity is merely the effect on mass by the curvature of the fabric of space-time caused by mass.

God, according to the bible, is the creator of all - all good and all evil.

if people hate racist people then why believe in god--he is the biggest racist of them all--and thats kind of sad since he created us all
