The Bravo was sometimes dishonest with the age of its models, giving a lower age than the real one.
One famous example was the gay son of a female mayor belonging to the conservative CDU party. They wrote, he would be an 18 yo high-school student, but in reality, he was a 21 yo university student. The "Bild" newspaper, something like the German equivalent of the "Sun", wrote an article about this. Though, the Bild newspaper was famous for showing naked young women with big breasts. But a mayor's son naked in the Bravo was something for them to complain about...
However, many boys really took part being as young as 16 or even 14. I even contacted one of them (my avatar), another real 16 yo was the winner of a Turkish TV casting show, another one a famous German TV actor. Therefore, there are enough "provable" cases of underage Bravo boys.

Well, the Bravo is a German-speaking magazine. Because of this, it would make much more sense for them to satisfy their readers in Europe at first, where all German-speaking countries have the 16-years border. And according bad experiences of the models: They had the 16-years border and even a 14-years border for 16 years in total. Doesn't this indicate, that it was working absolutely well, also for the former models?
In the moment, the Bravo is definitely developing in the wrong direction, if you look at their sale-numbers. It begun to sink after they abolished the body-check for a while, and a re-start with an 18-years border didn't help. They swiched from weekly editions to two-weekly editions a few years ago, and now to four-weekly editions. The Bravo will disappear soon, I think, if they don't change their politics.
My conclusion is: They have to satisfy their German readers first, and they do it wrong in the moment, if you look at their sale-numbers. And what they did wrong, in my opinion, was switching the age-border from 16 to 18. So, I still invite to my petition at

They were alway famous for daring more than anybody else but staying in a legal framework. This is, why millions of teenagers bought it formerly. Now, they are a magazine like all others, maybe even more covardly than others. And now, they are almost off the market. Is this an accidental coincidence?
All this happened after they fired the former "Dr. Sommer", Jutta Stiehler, because she was an expert, but too expensive. The new boss of the "Dr. Sommer" team is a (cheap) kindergarten teacher. This is, why the quality of the sex education dropped so much and why they make such wrong decisions.
The only reason for raising the age border from 16 to 18 is to gain more sales. 20% of the world has 16 as an age border, 90% has 18, so if you are a magazine like bravo and want to sale across the german border to lets say the US, you have to raise the age border in order to keep it legal. Its a money question, nothing more.
You are right, thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, the kind of moral, you wrote about, also spreads to Europe, and starts to change also our laws. This is, why I started the petition on

before it's too late. Germany has to stay, how it was 10 or 20 years ago, to be a good example for others. Also the Bravo magazine has to care for this.

Yes, Bravo can do what they want, but unfortunately, the magazine decided to change the lower age border from 16 to 18 by their own. They were not forced by the law. Because of this, I don't understand their decision. Why don't they show boys like this, being 16 or 17, anymore?

Daniel decided to shave, because all boys in his team do this. He has the opinion, that it belongs to it. I don't understand his argumentation, and I would also prefer him to be unshaved, but this is his decision. :)
