this is kind of the way my mom took it. mom does drink but not very much at once. we were out in the garage one night a little later than normal. i live just a walk down the road from my parents house. i was going to leave then i got the nerves to tell her! out of the blue i said "mom i got to tell you something you will not like. i am gay!" she started to chuckle . " shit brother thank you for finally admitting it not only to us but to yourself!!! who needs another beer?"...... that's my coming out story to my family . sorry i was so long winded in this story
Gotta great coming out story re: my Mom. When I moved in with my first ever live-in boyfriend...I called my entire family to come out. When I called Ma...she didn't say a word. She just started laughing out loud on the phone! I was like..."Mom, what the Hell is so G.D. funny"? She just laughed even harder. Now I started to laugh because SHE was laughing so hard! But after a while I became aggravated because she just wouldn't stop. "MA, WHAT THE HELL IS SO GOD DAMN FUNNY"? She finally catches her breath and says, "Well...you peed sitting down until you were 5 years old. Now I know why"!. Such great lady.
