Two thousand years ago a father and son were walking through the mountains of ancient Greece. Suddenly a storm came through and a lightening bolt hit a nearby tree splitting it in half. The son asked his father what caused lighting whereupon the father told his son that Zeus must be angry again, probably because Hera was having another dalliance with an aquatic fowl. And that answered that. A simple answer for a complicated question which needs no further thought. And that is the purpose of religion - to provide simple explanations for complicated questions for those who won't or can't think for themselves. And why is God a man? If God is a man then God has a dick. Why would God need a dick? Does he need a dick to fuck and if so who or what does he fuck? Does he need it to piss? That means he needs to drink. If he needs to drink then he needs to eat. If he needs to eat then he needs to shit. If he is supposed to be immortal then why would he need to do either? God did not create man in his image, man create God in his image.
Religion to me is just the manifestation of the extreme arrogance that human beings have. Really if a being that created the entirety of time ,the universe and everything in it did exist why would they care what humans do. We are nothing but a speck on the ass of universe.
To me they are all religions are a testament to INSANITY...All of them prey on people.

Not much for "organized religion". If someone believes in a higher power and it comforts and guides them, fine by me, but not necessarily not my cup of tea. I have always felt that "organized religions" of many faiths have used fear and threats of "hell fire and damnation" as a tool to indoctrinate and control for centuries. Then there are the "TV healers" who can heal you right through the TV screen, just after you call in and give them a credit card number. Always amazes me when the televangelists who need our $$ to "heal and help" operate out of "Crystal Palaces" and private multimillion dollar jets?? I'm sure their God appreciates they go first class while doing "his work"! Nope, treat others decently, help those who need it, respect the earth and it's creatures, stand up for the "right thing" and karma should take care of the rest!
Everything you guys have said is true and I agree but I was rather thinking about the crazy stuff they sell and some people buy such as 72 virgins waiting for you, a young girl pregnant by a dove or probably my favourite, magic underwear and a planet for your own when you die... XD
