I'm getting tired of all your blogs about God - it seems we have a new one every day. It is generally considered impolite to discuss either politics or religion with others unless you know it will be welcomed.
Nick has wisely fixed it so discussions of politics is not allowed here. Hopefully he'll do the same with religion.
And frankly, I have no idea what you hope to effect by these continued posts. We all have our own beliefs and there's no way these blogs of yours are going to change them.
You can generally tell what kind of person a GBT member is, by the avatars of his friends. I think so, anyway. "Birds of a feather flock together."
All we have is the moment and breath we're experiencing right now , I'm sorry that you've learnt the hard way that the common drift is toward a brutish , hidebound perspective and folks live with no hope of much more than a carnal encounter - Arrogant atheists abound and sound remarkably like they're preaching as well - but their sermons repel my inner sense - broad is the way and crowded - I take it as a good sign if I find few fellow travelers headed in the same direction I'm going . Azoo,I knew what your post was about ,unfortunately some others didn't.As you mentioned is was in reference to my blog post a long time ago.There ARE a lot of Gay christians who have felt the pain from the church by being told God hates them for being Gay and thats what your blog post was addressing.Your blog was for those people posted in a comforting way.Some people thought the post was preaching to them.They saw the header on the post and had the option to skip over it. They chose to express there dislike for God and or the church.I can agree with them on the dislike of the church which has not been kind to Gay people.Your post was pointing out that God doesn't preach hate . The church does! I got it.some didn't. Don't be discouraged.
