I communicate by both the Blogs (as most will note, I've done a lot of Blogs) and by PM when it's appropriate - and, rarely, on someone's Wall. But the best 'communication' I do is by regular email since I find the PMs formatting is very limited and not given to long messages about what I'm doing or have done or am thinking about.
I do wish however that more people would PM me with questions or observations about what I have written in my Blogs.
Lastly it's been sometime since I've written a new story and i'm working on one now that I hope will be good. I really wish that anyone who reads one of my stories would PM or email me and let me know what they think.
Maybe I'm wrong but this is how I feel. The people who post things to your wall, that takes time and that should mean something. I don't even try to have many friends (which I think seems to be a problem with people who get disillusioned with numbers, thumbs up and stars) but the ones I do have, when I have the time, I try to pick something that reflects what I know they have an affinity for, or is unique to them, or we have in common, or they've inspired me with or a combination. I think the guys who come here looking for some sex hookup online have it all wrong and realize this isn't that place. There's also a ton of those boy traders and or cops chasing them and those people never last here either under a name or a dozen for long. The *real* people here or the ones interested in communicating and opening up, for good or bad are the ones who invest in a few others, growing pains included and at the end of the day, want to come back as they care. They talk about the exciting to every day life, even the mundane and of course SEX for sure but it isn't the be all end all and it's usually a bit of tongue in cheek. They love, they fight, they bitch, they complain and give really great advice and sometimes really bad advice. They care what's going on in the world and some are often overly opinionated. *imagine that* Jump in.
Both are good. Why should it be an either or but really depends on what you what to communicate or? Some things are fine to be on walls and other things aren't as they're more personal and meant only for that person.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. (How often do you put forth effort to talk to him in any way? I'll just venture: not much?)
