One of my favorite Joel songs (even though the melody is by Beethoven). I would have loved to hear someone with a more powerful voice sing it. Maybe Tom Jones?
fun to watch being played!
Devon, your ears are keen, yes, his entire "An Innocent Man" 1983 album was an "homage to 1950s music".
MarkPunk1990, I agree, seeing him live is amazing. (Showing my age here, but I saw him in concert in 1982 and was BLOWN AWAY. Especially impressed by how, with his "Glass Houses" songs, he started each one off with a long piano introduction! Haven't seen him since; but that's my favorite rock concert ever, so trying to repeat it would be a disappointment for me anyway.)
