1958 Pontiac Bonneville Custom The car was lowered 3 1/2 inches.
I've driven a quite a few collector classics, most before they were considered such lol and they are nice in their own right, but you take an old car that spends most of the time parked undercover and by customizing it now it has gone from being driven maybe 3 or 4 times a year to a car show parking it and people walk around looking at it and saying "it is a beautiful old car they don't make them like they use to" now a drivable performance car with the top end of a muscle car that handles the road like a porch But each to their own I guess. Although I'm not one to cut up a perfectly good classic and customize it I know guys that do just that. However, it is their car, they can do what they want I guess. I wouldn't think twice of customizing an old beater often only the chassis and frame are used anyway and make a performance driver car from it.
Oh well, this would mean; "It's not your father's Buick anymore"?!
