I was never directly bullied. Most thought I was the bully as I was older and bigger. Funny how it didn't happy in Germany - except at 5 when 7 yo girl called me "gay" because she saw I didn't want to take my friend's attention from me. That conversation was recorded on a tape and sent to my grandmother, but she never noticed the girl said it on that tape. So, they never had any clue.
I dated women at university and before that, and was trying to conform a bit to heterosexual behaviors. But, I am bisexual so I was truly attracted to them. I was just disappointed with the sex I had with them as they didn't seem to want a real relationship. Those ladies just wanted to have a fuck and move on. This was life at university. It made me depressed and I wound self-searching and admitted to myself that even though I'm bisexual, I am still unbalanced and more attracted to men. So, when I told my family, I told them that I was "gay." Back then, even gay pride clubs didn't really acknowledge bisexuals and mostly said things like: "Oh, your just in a curious phase." or "You're just too chicken shit to say you're gay."
