I always have PB in my house, which is a good thing because it's been "first aid" for me at times. I have, not diabetes, but "pre-diabetes" or "borderline diabetes", which dependent on my food choices can turn into diabetes or not. Mainly I have occasional hypoglycemia, which is fortunately easily detected by me: as a "hot flash", a combination of nausea and sweating for no reason. It's great that PB, with its combination of protein and fat (from the peanuts) and sugar (added in), is perfect for my body — I just get myself a hunky spoonful of it and savor it, and within 5 minutes my distress is gone (my BSL seems to right-itself).

I have also had peanut butter upset my stomach (natural type of peanut butter). But it was my over all diet and not specifically because of that one type of food so maybe some other time it will work out for you as long as you are not allergic to it! Do be careful as I guess it could kill you if you have an allergy with it!
