I've been driving for 30 years and never even have a driver license because it's too much government in my life.

1) Driverless cars would scare the hell out of me. In one or outside of one.
2) I love driving, especially stick-shifts / 5-speeds / manuals. This would take all the fun out of driving.

They better come up with a magic pill that prevents car sickness, because if I ain't driving.... Long distances are sooooo not fun.
The whole point in having your own car is to feel some sort of freedom in a world that likes to control your every move, from the moment you get up in the morning to the time you go to bed. Freedom is rare these days. Cars allows you some freedom, go where you wish, pick up friends and family, go shopping, just sit in car and watch the world go by. Smoke in the car, ware what you like in the car. Freedom. Driverless cars, no thank you, they now have control over your freedom, not the car but those in control of it. Its easy to ID an car these days, all the electronics, one can hack in. These driverless cars will be so easy to hack in to their CPU's, so no thanks. My new car I even removed the tracking system....................I want freedom in my car.
No more traffic tickets or DUI's. Less cops and more freedom
