a question..why does sexagenarius's comments get deleted?
I was a philosophy/religion major. And the more one gets into your territory, the more one can feel that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to Existence....
May I suggest to you my 2 favorite movies? They were both from 1982-83, just when I was finishing up my PHI/REL in early 1983. The first is my "comedy" all-time favorite, and the reason I'm writing you now, as it answers your question in a roundabout way. But the 2nd is my "drama" all-time favorite, and I think that you, Mr. Twit, would get some good use out of it as well, I hope so.

Maybe in this day & age they can be seen for free online? (If so, be sure that Python's includes the intro https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crimson_Permanent_Assurance which is for me an important part.)
Please let me know when/if you've seen them, I actually think both would be great for you. (Maybe not to necessarily answer your initial questions, but to help calm you down anyway because these are serious questions for sure. They were eye-opening films for me.)

Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of a penis
According to the Existentialism of Jean Paul Sartre, there is no "point" to existence. Any point to existence is what the individual choses to make for himself which comes from within and not imposed from without (i.e. no god damned god's divine plan). To cite an old Buddhist proverb: As the apple tree apples, the planet peoples.
Some will tell you its all about comfort, but its not. Its about doing great things.
