Lust versus.............the other stuff
No point in even talking about lust I reckon. I know what I like, physically and in the physicality of certain types of guys, and in how they express it or like to absorb me expressing it. Even a cursory sweep through GBT shows the same is true for everyone on here.
But what about the 'other stuff'. I avoided using the word 'love' just then. Love isn't even necessary, because, dunno what you guys think, but often fleeting affection, passing fondness, a kind of temporary meeting of minds, a sort of existential two-ships-passing thing can be just as meaningful, sometimes more rewarding and honest, than 'love', which is so possessive and often quickly becomes fake.
What's the balance for you? Between eyes-starting-out-of-your-head panting, drooling lust, and the more subtle things that, so often surprisingly, yet refreshingly, turn out to be more worthwhile. Not even just after the nnngh! is over, when you're going 'hmm..that was actually kind of nice', but even during it, when 'other', human, things are as much a part of sex as the brutal straightforwardness of the flesh.
