What do you all think should be done with physical libraries of all forms of media?    Books, film (all types, reel to reel, vhs, beta, d.v.d, blu-ray, endless types), same for audio recordings.     Do you all think that individuals who have libraries are making a bad choice by keeping them?

Cost too much to maintain.


Put on computer and close down buildings.

Thank you all as I have a huge library of stuff but it's not organized or catalogued!   Yikes!    My family or at least one sibling seems to think one should not have so much as it is too much of a hassle, costs money, waste of time, etc.     Of course I do need to do better with it but I can afford it and have the time so I think things will work out there, eh!     :)

Preserve them. Especially physical books. There is nothing like turning the page of a real book.

I previous alot of media wasn't looked after except books really so we lost alot of our earlier valuable history never to be seen again.


Unstable media that won't last-ditch as VHS should be copied on to degital media etc.


But we must save things for future generations to learn from.
