Thanks for all the delightful comments. as DrMoraPhd asked, I will leave the blog out in the space. Yes, Nick has the power to edit anything he desires on this site (see how it spelled BQ) and I as a contributor to this site have right to my opinion and posts. Which is what this blog is about. Just as those that disagree with me have a right to their opinions. My issue with Nick's editorial control is that when anyone makes an argument that shows his point of view is in error, he edits away the history, in the same way, that when he behaves badly with a member and realizes it later, he deletes it in the hopes that all will be forgotten. Nick needs to remember, that while it is his site, he is dependent on the good will of those that contribute content to it, because, without new content, he has no site to make a living from. Therefore if you want to stay in business, you need to treat people with a level of respect. 

u know i will say it again and again it doesn't matter if he makes 2 billion dollars a year off of this sight it is still his fucking sight.and if we don't like what he says or does u know we have the right to not show up. its simple me and nick have had are arguments before and i am sure we will have them again some time in the future however again its his fucking sight we are just guests yes guests cause if he wanted to he could charge us and then we will be members 

@DrMoraPhD  Your wasting your time trying to have a logical argument with an illogical person, Nick’s mind is closed and he sees only the arguments that support his twisted view of the world today.  If it does not fit his view then it is fake, facts don’t matter to him, truth does not matter to him and decency towards others do not matter to him.  When Nick is faced with people questioning his beliefs and values he does the only thing he is capable of, deletes comments then lies about what was said. 

Thomas has spent a good portion of his life working for the betterment of all the members of the LGBTQ community, he works tirelessly for inclusion and equality and does more good for the LGBTQ world in 5 minutes than Nick will do in a lifetime.  What is your contribution Nick?  You live alone and operate a porn site where you use the blogs to insult the best members you have then cover your tracks by deleting the evidence.  If Thomas insulted you I am damn sure you asked for it through your rude obnoxious mean spirited behavior you exhibit over and over and over.

Political censorship, and the infantile practice of blocking dissent here on GBT, are the most maddening outrages that we members regularly experience. Earlier this week, it happened for the umpteenth time to me. Someone posted an explicitly political blog, and soon after my mild rejoinder was posted, the entire entry vanished into the ether. My comment contained no insults or threats, just a different perspective. In the interests of civility, and hopeful that this blog might provide a teachable moment, I won't today name the censorial offender, but should he continue with this short-sighted and cowardly behavior, I'm not likely to be as diplomatic in the future. I've often quoted the line from President Harry Truman that "politics is the hottest kitchen in the world, and if you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen." No one is requiring any member to read any blog that might upset their overly delicate sensibilities. That admonition goes double for all of us who post to these blogs, and it particularly applies to those who initiate such discussions. It is in the very nature of politics that these exchanges will engender a wide range of opinions, but censorship, or the outright banning of these topics from GBT, is not the right approach. Such a ban would unnecessarily diminish the range of pleasures found on this terrific website. Please understand that strong differences of opinion do not automatically connote personal disrespect. The best response to any free speech issue with which you disagree is better free speech and argumentation, and NEVER censorship. My grateful thanks goes to Thomas for posting this timeless blog. I only hope that our efforts will produce some positive results.
