I know what you mean. I think most only want to be FRIENDS so they an get better access to your uploads. Which is odd, as this site is FREE and anyone can access the uploads at any time. However there is another reason, they think the more FRIENDS they have in their list, the more someone will want to Star them and become FRIENDS as well. Shame really.
