A lot of people feel lonely, i'm one of them. Even you have friends and even some with a partner feel lonely inside because no one understand them, no one knows who they really are, no one had the same feelings. If you feel lonely for too long, like i did, it became nearly impossible to be open for other people and you miss the ones who would be good for you. To hide what you like becomes hiding yourself....hating yourself and you flee into a wrong life where you never become happy.
I know how you feel and we are not the only ones, sadly i can't give you a solution till i found it for myself.
lonely, alone, yes I can truthfully say been there, done that. Our technological age has created an atmosphere where we are losing the ability to deal with people face to face and now only just screen to screen. It is not easy to meet or trust people when we are all bombarded every day with bad news and just busy trying to survive in this world. I am very close with my family and I thank god every day that we are that close. I haven't found that other half of me yet, but whether I do today, tomorrow or not at all as long as you are comfortable with the person you are everything else will take care of itself. I have been lucky to meet some beautiful people and some real jerks but it is the wonderful people you meet that make taking the chance worth it every time

Only lonely in the friends department. Everyone I thought was my friend either stabbed me in the back or just stopped giving a fuck. Now have a hard time of trusting people in the friend department

I have no family left now and it's worrying. I don't feel lonely, but I sometimes feel alone. There's a difference. My best friend (not my b/f) died three years ago. I'm not scared of growing old, but I am scared of growing incapable. Hugs, Chunky.

LOL, try living in a country with 20 odd million sheep and about 4-5 million people, then on top of that add age. I've resigned myself to the fact I ain't gonna get me a partner in this life. decided to just grow old - disgracefully!!!!
