Last Friday I lost a dear friend. He abused prescription drugs and alcohol and on that day it went to far. It caused him to go into a coma. All brain activity was lost. He did have enough oxygen flow to keep his major organs and tissue alive. This morning they removed his kidneys, lungs and heart along with tissue. Others will live on because of this.  


One American dies nearly every hour waiting for a transplant - yet a single organ donor can save as many as eight lives.


He was registered to donate his organs in the event of his death. You to can do the same.

Very sorry to hear of your loss Billy. Over 12 years ago I lost a dear friend to an overdose, he was a donor also. I have been signed up as a donor for many years, hope when my time comes that I can help others.

Give so others may live. I also have a brother who passed do to a drug overdose more then 10 years ago.

Yes Please donate, I lost an older brother January 2015 and he donated, 6 month's later we received a letter telling us that because he donated his pupils a young man was now able to see for the first time. :)

Having just lost my partner, I definitely can feel your pain...it does make it a little better knowing he helped to make other's lives better...
