I was 65 last month (Sep) and attract young lads. Personally I think it's because I offer a degree of security in an often volatile and uncertain world.

Generally speaking, the gay community has always been just as ageist as the rest of society...maybe more so. Major importance is placed on looks and youth, and I'm just as guilty as most...although, in my defense, my partner of 14-years is nine years my senior...and, both of us love looking at younger guys! There are many who DO appreciate the older man, though, so don't give up!!

Not true. You just need to be in the right places. And remember to hold yourself proud of who you are and what your age has brought you. Am 63 and still get hit on now and again.
