Hi guys I am Zach and this is my first post to your site here. Seen many different things posted in your blogs so thought this would be funny to share. It is funny because I know for a fact this is how most Amish Mothers would act because up till about 2 years ago I was Amish. Long story short Amish Communities do not let Gay Amish boys stay around. You will not find many openly gay Amish teens that are allowed to stay Amish. Hope you get a laugh from the video.-- zach18 signing off

Yes we can get out and see what is called the English world for a year sometimes more depending on the community. Having a car yes there are some that do, mainly for far travel and community emergency. All communities have some difference. I have seen the tv show about being Amish, it not tell full story since there are many differences in community. The community I was in was very strict on most things religious but did allow a few modern things for emergency. It not like we in our own world, we were able to buy some things and hide them from our parents and elders like cell phones and other small things we could hide easy. People have to understand it is a way of life, family preservation, community safety, doing what is right for the earth by not polluting the world we live in, and religion. I miss some of it, but would hate not to have tv, computer, or the clothes I can wear now.

That strikes a familiar chord!  The Amish near me in Pennsylvania are pretty conservative but the boys frequently buy a car when they hit 16-17 and house it in a rented garage.  They the boys blow off steam, what folks used to call sewing their wild oats.  Later they return to the church and the Amish community.  Never saw one with a Porsche though, that would be a first!  Funny video, Zach!
