Gbt symposium on sexually transmitted diseases

Hey everyone-


I can't recall in all the years I've been here of anyone trying to lead a discussion on sexually transmitted diseases as it pertains to gay males, and as I happen to have a little free time open up on me I thought I'd toss the idea out there to gauge the interest. I was thinking about some time either friday night or saturday, but I'm going to India on Sunday so I might need some help if there are any MD's in the audience that want to help a brotha out. This site attracts people from all ages, races, education levels and nations of the world, and this might be as good a platform for helping people mitigate their risk as any. Go ahead and ask any questions and I'll do my best to dig up the info. And No, i dont have any so stfu.  I use the f- word a lot now, lol.

Someone is really TOO hung up on circumcision issues. Talk about not letting go of one's hang ups at infancy

In the 80's I had bareback sex with at least three people who have since died from aids but I have had several tests since and I'm HIV negative (immune carrier !?). The "desperate to justify circumcision" idiots who claim it helps prevent infection are probably responsible for a lot of people not bothering with 'extra protection' and then catching an std !

Some people have mentioned that its been so long since Ruslan did his safe sex blog that its probably a good idea to wait a few weeks and advertise this up around the site to maximize participation. I'm kool with that.

I will probably start putting some thoughts down tomorrow and add to it as time permits. Ruslan already covered a ton of stuff if anyone has the link to it - this is meant to compliment his info.
