Trick is one of my favorite movies overall; so entertaining in all aspects! I also really love The Broken Hearts Club; it really hit home with me for various reasons, one being it's filmed in West Hollywood where I used to live. Check them both out, I'm sure you will like...let me know!

I personally really liked The Hanging Garden, 25-year-old Sweet William (Chris Leavins) returns to his parents' house in rural Nova Scotia after ten years of absence to attend the wedding of his sister Rosemary (Kerry Fox). It is revealed that he was once a gay, obese teenager (played by Troy Veinotte), who was caught having sex with his bisexual friend Fletcher (Joel Keller) in the garden by his grandmother when he was 15; Rosemary is marrying Fletcher. As a consequence of the ensuing rejection, particularly by his father (Peter MacNeill), Sweet William had the choice of either running away to live in a big city far away from the family or end his life by hanging himself from a tree in the garden.

If you are looking for something emotionally stirring I would say The Normal Heart. A beautiful but sad film about the HIV outbreak in the late 80's and the consequences it had on the gay community. On the other hand if you want something more 'light-hearted' I would advise Trick. A funny and light-hearted film about 2 guys trying to find a place to have sex together, very cute and funny in my opinion :D

I recommend you this one but it's a french movie with subtitles...

If you want to watch a non-sex movie, I have a couple of suggestions! "Make the Yuletide Gay" is a funny, sweet movie about coming out and family. Another favorite of mine is "Another Gay Movie," which has some of the best humor of any movie, plus some famous actors and cute boys (a great combination)! Birdcage (the remake of La Cage Aux Folles) is really good and some great acting from both Robin Williams and his supporting cast! Finally "But I'm A Cheerleader" is a wonderful exploration of coming to terms with same sex attraction from the girls point of view! Quite a few of these are available on Netflix!! Enjoy!!
