Sorry my friends for not being around so much. My last semester of school I didn't do so good. A few of my final grades were almost failures. I hate that feeling of being a near failure. With the gpa I got I know I could of done better. So I decided I need to spend less time online and concentrate more on school studies. If I ever want to make something of myself in life it has to start now. I do want college in my future. I do want to be successful.

What works for me is studying just before I go to bed. My retention level is I'd guess 30% higher. Brian has been doing it for the last 2 years and his grades jumped him from B's to A's. If you do it every night for like a month you will see a huge improvement and spend less time studying. We block off study time to 8:30 to 10:30PM. Brian barely got into Carnegie Mellon his dad and my dad are legacy's and so are Brian and me and they both had to really push to get Brian in. I said if Brian doesn't go to CMU and goes to Pitt I was going to Pitt too. NO ONE liked that idea at all.

Benji, NO ONE here will think any less of you just because you want to choose to do better with your studies. Good study means good grades and good grades means a life time of opportunity. Successful come with the work and a good work begin with the motivation but don't wait to be motivated to begin your work, it will come after the action. Step by step and you will climb the stairs. To start the engine of his motivation, the student must simply ... start studying. The more he approaches the goal, more motivation will increase.. Good luck my friend..

You don't need to apologize for spending less time online. It is very smart of you to dedicate more of your time to your studies. Continue to work hard and get your grades up then enjoy the more fun things in life. It was nice of you to post this blog and let us know that you are ok, I've been wondering how you are. benji, pour yourself into your work and learning. set your goal on that degree and you can do it. trust me it will off be worth it. try to avoid distractions like hawt guys. let me know if you need more encouragement.

Concentrating on your studies at school is so important as it is difficult to recover lost school years. I didnt study very hard at school and left to go to a rubbish job. After some time I left and went to university to get a chemistry degree as a mature student. This was a lot of hard work but the BSc opened so many doors. However I always regret that I made it so hard for myself.
Good luck - space out work with pleasure so that you having something to look forward to while you studying.
