Dad(?) holds the boy's hand. Female, on the right, has hers behind her back. You don't have to be a genius to get the message. I had two sons many, many years ago, and this is exactly the way it was with me and my boys. We had a connection my ex couldn't even comprehend. God bless the boys and the father. Timeless.

The woman is certainly distancing herself, she is not holding the boys hand, she is clasping her own hands behind her back, she feels uneasy, she wants to pull away, she is leaning away from the man and boy, all her weight is on her outside leg,

The artist is certainly trying to let us in on the story. My take on the story is this.....the guy on the left in the painting is the man holding the boys hand.......the man on the right of the painting is the woman. The two men in the painting are the couple looking on, and the boy is the son of the same sex couple.

The body language has the woman distancing herself. The little boy is wondering why. The man is probably thinking back to when he was a youth.

I love the message this picture is trying to get out there, Parents how show there kids art and are not afraid that the art is showing a loving same sex couple.
If kids are raced this way it will increase the tolerance of accepting a different life style.
