We are back. Stayed in Lille France for the night and tried out some French beers... Drove back last night and got to bed early. Our car was full of shopping and we lost count of what we spent. Had a great time. Glad to be home and see our cat Tommy..

Absolutely, Marshy! In summer 1981, I went to Walt Disney World with 2 friends. (My female ex-classmate, my first year of college, it was now 2 years later and she'd dropped out but we were still good friends; and her strange ex-boyfriend, who kept coming onto me on the drive from Tampa to WDW and I was appalled, since although queer I was not gonna do it with my friend Debbie's boyfriend, I wasn't sure whether they were really kaputs or not. But the 3 of us got along better after a few hours in the car & at WDW, as Debbie convinced me that the guy (don't even remember his name now) was disturbed, and gay, and definitely broken off from her romantically, they were just friends now. So I was really looser then. And when we were deciding how to get from WDW's "parkinglot land" over to WDW's Magic Kingdom, the choices were something like monorail, train, or ferry. I, for a laugh, got all femme and lisp-spouted, "Ooh, I want to ride the Fairy Boats!!" So that's what they insisted we do. So Mike, the answer to your question is yes — Debbie was straight, however was allowed on the ferry. (P.S. The guy kept doing irritating things the rest of the time we were there, like wanting to hold hands with me everywhere, insisting he & I ride on Peter Pan's Flight together which we did, etc. But I agreed with Debbie, and still do: he was not at all classy, not worth being romantic with.)
