I was at work yesterday when a 5 year old boy came walking into the store with two prosthetic legs below his knees. He was walking around like it was nothing, but I felt bad for him knowing that he was gonna have to spend the rest of his life like that. Just remember, that no matter how bad you think you have it, it could always be worse; and for a lot of people, it already is.

Such parables like in that picture, they bring thoughts for example about what all evil in the world at this very moment happens and makes me think a lot and cry, too. Crying does not help, it's only making yourself released at the moment but it should also wake you up to help and take part in the provision of the assistance under the conditions and means what is sufficient your own means and forces. Three days ago when I saw the picture of that 3 years old dead Syrian boy on the beach in Turkey I cried the whole day, of course because of him but also because I finally realised that this whole world is going very fast back to its worst dark days of history. We all know what I mean, I hope so. Billy's blog and the picture itself is a metaphor that we all should think and start to help and find solutions for all of us from grass-roots in each in their own way to the best way you can. Of course we all need leaders for that but the initiatives and solutions will come from the general public. Because we are the ones who actually see these people without shoes, without feet or without life. Maybe right next to you.

thanks Billy for that post. We think we have problems until we look around at others, and outside the box. Look at that poor little Syrian kid whose body washed up on the shore. Man's inhumanity towards man will never change because we have too many people who behave like an ostrich with it's head buried in the sand, and see nothing but what they want to see.
