What does it mean to be out of the closet? Does it mean that when you walk around in public that everyone knows your gay? Or when you intorduce yourself, you say Hi, I am gay? Or you rainbow up vehicle?

All good answers here so far. Being "out" means different things to different people but it always means feeling more free to be yourself.

coming out can be as easy as it gets for some, or difficult for others. Each person is different. Be cautious, go slow but read how family and school mates may react. What's the pressure for YOU to come out at this time? Seek advice, chat here, but above all be who you are , and seek the friendships/love you need to fulfil your life. Above all stand up for you and your rights. If you are being bullied deal with it at school. There is no cookie cutter or one size fits all solution , but once you make a rational decision, being honest about yourself will take a lot of pressure of you. There is NOTHING to be ashamed of because you were born gay and had no choice in that! I wish you luck PM me if you wanna talk ok.

Just not pretending to be straight. You don't have to flaunt it or take on some affected stereotypical behavior or mannerism. But if asked if you're gay, you look the person in the eye and unashamedly say "Yeah, what of it?". And if someone doesn't like it, your attitude is "so fucking what". Being out is being who you really are.
