adding friends and uploading profile pic

hi guys, i just joined here, everytime someone sends me a friend request, i press accept but it comes back saying i already have them as a friend, but i dont!!! anyone know what im doing wrong/how to solve it? also when i try to upload my profile pic it, i upload it but it says i havent uploaded a avatar? what is that? and no pic comes up!

Try adding friends now. Avatar issue should also be resolved.
