Sunny and Peaceful Weekend From Luang Prabang, Laos :)

This nice, beautiful and the former capital of Laos, a Unesco World Heritage city is quiet, climate is cooler than in HCMC. Local people are very kind and helpful, food is delicious and cheap. Because of lots of wats (temples) here are lots of monks and novices who want to go near to Buddha. Very clean everywhere, I would like to stay here forever! Next Sunday to the capital, Vientiane for 3 nights by bus through the mountain and jungle roads and then back home. I can recommend Luang Prabang to all of you, It's really worth of visit! all my friends, have a wonderful weekend:) Jay

Yes thanks Jayden, if we get there we will go see it...Great pic.Sadly many of us never get to see a different culture to our own...Thank god i had the opportunity to come to Europe and be close to 4 seperate countries just a few hours drive away. ..Even England is close to and we will visit this summer.

Very peaceful and inspiring. Watch your step in the countryside. I hear there is a lot of unexploded ordinance (cluster bombs) from the war 45-50 years ago. Laos was the most heavily bombed country in that war. Still cleaning it up. Very sad in such a peaceful country. Sorry to end on a dissonant note. Enjoy your travels, be safe!!
