If it is any comfort, even in USA where it was prevalent, infant circumcision [except for religiousbre reasons eg Jews, Muslims] the practice has already been declining rapidly for several decades.  Relatively few in teens or older elect to to be circumcised and then amost all to alleviate the discomfort of an overtight foreskin.
