<p>Just sent my last few nights just listening some oldy rap albums and some underrepresented ones. </p>
<p>Currently on a Tribe Called Quest hype and some Milo, something about words softly spoken in quick succession over a light jazz or acoustic sampling or beats makes the nights go by much quicker. How about you guys any rap enthusiasts out there? Also you can comment below any albums or songs I should listen to. </p>

Deltron 3030 and the rest of Del and Hieroglyphics, Kool Keith and his old band whose name escapes me if you like heavier, Project Blowed compilation (rare, but it'll be online somewhere), J Dilla, Dj Shadow, Prince Paul's A Prince Among Thieves and anything else on this playlist are my old-school favourites :3

hey friend yes ... will smithy summertime a bit cheesy soulfull just reminds me of being a teen hot and horney with no luck drinking in the park at night ... hey days back when guess you can teach me why we here in small town uk didnt really get rap it had too much attitude ... but i was secretly in to punk - sex pistols - clash - giles

An atmosphere of kinda emotional taxing lyrics combined with cloud rap and low-fi production. In the track, folk-metaphyics Milo does a bit of singing as well to accompany his rapping, though his voice isn't the best, it's an enduring effort to add another complex layer to his track. In his second track off the album, "almost cut my hair (for crosby)", Milo puts to use his usual aesthetic of quiet and light production and uses his music to paint a picture of himself, portraying himself as a flawed character. Behind the nerdy culture that Milo cultivated for himself, comes an artist that self-aware of his being, that uses his music as a self critique, he himself has said that his song structure isn't as good as it can be and that his music has room to improve. But from this album, one can tell that Milo has indeed gain a foothold in the new rap and hiphop scene.

That's my little commentary on it.

They're something different, kinda old school hiphop with a disco influence. You can hear it in the production, a heavy bass sound. They're nice, kinda almost Will Smithy.
