I strongly believe people have had enough. Occupy wall street and the recent protests over Police abuse of force, is the precursor in the USA, that I will call the "Revolution". Power, corporate greed, politics and religion will be taken to task for their atrocities over the centuries. You can only piss off hundreds of millions of people for so long, It will happen in North America. Lennon's song is almost prophetic," Imagine ", and "You say you want a revolution" ring so true.

john was basically talking about Nirvana, the place , not the band lol. i dont think it is attainable in this world. to have it, you have to have people that are not mad for power and greedy for money and they seem to be the motivating force behind many people, especially the people within power .

Maybe we can but as we know from the history and at the present there will always born one person (like Hitler, Putin, Pol Pot, Mugabe, Bin Laden etc.) -in North or South America, Africa, Europe, Asia or Australia, probably not in Antarctic- who will spoil all development leading into peace in the whole world. It's very sad but I'm sure that in my lifetime I'm not going to see the miracle that there's no war anywhere in the world. Again feeling sad and bad :(

The words of the song may say it as it should be but as long as 90%+ of the worlds' wealth / resources are owned by 1% of the population it will never be achieved. Sad, alas true.
