<p>Sorry, I've not been on GBT much. Since my last blog post, I've been really struggling with depression :-/ A lot of the people that I thought I could trust the most in my life have been the first ones to let me down in some way. It even got to the point I was contemplating suicide last December. But thanks to all the PMs I got on here, I reconsidered. Still, the past few months have not been easy. But I just want everyone who messaged me know that I'm very thankful for all the kind words, and I wasn't ignoring anybody. It really lifted my spirits, even though I've been in a very dark place. You guys are really sweet :3</p>

I know what you mean about those who you think you can trust. Just remember to look for the things that make you happy, no matter how small, and hold them close. Remember them, so that when things get dark you can use them to light your heart to show you the way forward. Don't I sound like a bad fortune cookie. But anyway I really am serious about what I said the first bit of course. Never give in and never give up.

I Wish i was able to lift your spirit Above the clouds.

But the only one how can do that is you.
Belief in your self, and you will see it is going better every day, even if it are Baby Steps, its progress.

You will hit some bums on the way, but that's life.

Depression affects people in different ways... one way or another. It's something I have suffered from for many years. Please... never contemplate suicide as that would be giving in to depression. Take each day as it comes and fight back. If you don't want to talk to a counseller, why not talk to those close to you (friends, ect) and you'll often find help there or a shoulder to cry on. You have friends here and we'll all be right here by your side. Good luck, bud... and I wish you all the best for the future ;)

Am glad you are are still there. There is no one answer. Find your own..be it professional, spiritual or something else that let's you find the peace and the stamina to keep going forward. Remember, you have friends here that will listen and won't judge. We are a family by design. And that is a powerful thing. Hugs

Glad to see that you are doing better. No two experiences are the same, but I've had my own repeated problems with depression and anxiety. No one is able to tell you what works for you. For me, it was examining my own negative thinking, getting rid of negative people around me, taking care of my health, and finding my own definition of spirituality. Glad you are still with us.

Life always has its ups and downs, peaks and valleys. Just stay positive and get your self out here into a crowd that accepts you for you. Glad some things and people here have helped here. If it really gets you down, ALWAYS get to your doctor and get referred for some counselling. It doesn't mean something is wrong you. It means you are intelligent enough to know you are in a place that seems so negative, and need to talk it out with a professional. Suicide IS NEVER the answer, it is a very selfish act that destroys your family and friends. If you are ever feeling that impulse seek help ok? GET and stay positive about your life.
