<p><strong>Leonard Nimoy lived up to his longtime catchphrase: Live long and prosper. Having achieved success in many arenas during his lifetime, the actor, director, writer and photographer has died at age 83. His wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, reportedly confirmed his death to the New York Times, saying the cause was end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.</strong></p>

@80duck ~ I almost cried too. @guynmuskogee ~ I didn't know that Jerrod. Why would WBC want to picket straight stars' funerals? They're SOOOO weird and wacky. BTW....William Shatner couldn't attend, not because he didn't know where the funeral was, but because he was committed to a charity fund raiser which he felt obligated to attend. He stated yesterday that he was very upset not being able to attend the funeral of one of his best friends.

I almost cried when I heard this on the news. Might not seem like much, but for me it's a big deal.

I loved this man, and the character he played. Sad day ;(
