I was born at home and almost got strangled by the umbilical cord during birth. The doctor arrived late because my mother was in a terrible state. He told my mother that I saved myself from being strangled because I had my arm up so that part of the cord ran under my arm instead of being fully around my throat. But this awkward situation, with my arm extended, meant I couldn't get out properly. Luckily they rushed her to the hospital and figured it all out, knowing that if they didn't there'd be no Braedan on GBT :)
