The idea of those two straight laced cuties being offered pot cracks me up. I think the hard sell of a religion makes the followers of that religion seem desperate and insecure. It's like they don't believe in it until everybody believes in it. However, I have an ex-morman friend who is very sympathetic to missionaries. He suggests you invite them in, offer them some water or juice, give them a chance to rest. He was miserable during his mission in Italy and felt trapped there because if he quit, the church would not pay for his return to the U.S. and his family couldn't afford it. It's possible that one of the missionaries that shows up at your house is miserable as well. I've never had these guys come to my house, but the idea that one of them might be struggling with his religion and maybe his sexuality has intrigued me. Actually, this could be a good story line for a porno.

@swiftjohn - It is quite a process to get rid of all the indoctrination. It was made easier for me because a) the mission thing showed me all the absurdity of it up close, in its corporate guise, which I despised so much that, when the penny dropped, it dropped with a thud b) I knew I had quite powerful erotic leanings and they were more beautiful to me. It wasn't just Mormonism I dumped. It was all religion. Manipulative, arrogant, dishonest: all of it.

@braedan - Thank you for your answer. I'm always curious as to how someone raised, socialized and educated in an environment which is overtly hostile to homosexuality reconciles the conflict between who others have told them they are supposed to be and who they know they really are. And as far as you being amazed that any adult could believe in the whole Mormon thing, I'm amazed that any adult could believe in the whole religion thing.

I found quick of getting out of talking with these guys, I just simply stop them and say unless your going to be sucking my cock i'm really not interested. that seems to get them.

@swiftjohn - I realised halfway through my missionary experience that it was a whole load of codswaddle. I kept going to church for about 6 months when I came back from Japan, just to spare my family. (At the same time I started seeing a 34 year old guy in secret) Then I went off to university and never stepped foot in a Mormon church again. I believed it all as a kid because I was told to, even though I started having gay experiences when I was 12 which were so good I just didn't care if it was 'wrong'. It just amazes me that any adult could believe the whole Mormon thing.

Lol this so speaks to me. I was raised Mormon and did the mormon missionary thing as a result of all that indoctrination. Spent 2 years in northern Japan when I was 19-20 that I wish I could have spent - in a time machine - on this site having horny sex with old, beautiful, interesting pervs.
