<p>This may seem like a strange question, but do you think someone can be gay as far as physical attraction, but straight as far as their emotions go? I guess I mean, canyou want to fuck boys but love girls - or do you think that someone whe tells you that is really just not facing up to the fact that they are gay?</p>

likely you are bi curious and struggling with what you feel. Don't be afraid to be you and act on what you feel. You won't know until you try. go slow it isn't a race to come to terms with what you feel. hugz Ron xoxo

Yeah James, I totally think so. I'm not out either, so to some degree I can understand the girlfriend for appearances concept (although I cannot subscribe to the idea myself). Personally, I would say I am emotionally bi-sexual; I love guys and girls -as friends. But physically I am only attracted to guys. I could not have any meaningful sexual connection with a female.

Okay, well I ask as I've been having sex with a friend of mine for quite a long time. He has a girlfriend who he says he loves, but it not that interested in sexually. We on the other hand have great sex. I'd like to think he is on the level with what he says, but he asks very lovingly to me a lot of the time - not just sex for the sake of sex. I wonder if he wants to stay with her for the sake of appearing 'normal' and not having to face coming out to our friends. I dunno, maybe he does really love her. I'm not out either and I think our group of friends would be totally surprised if they found out we were fucking.

Sexual orientation is not a 'one size fits all' situation. Some guys feel totally gay, are attracted to other guys, and not at all attracted to females. Some guys are a bit more bi-sexual, feeling attraction for both male and female, but with that attraction sometimes being more emotional than physical as far as men or women. There is a whole variety of men who are attracted to other men feel about other men and women. We are all fairly complex beings. There is no need to think we need to be completely one way or the other.
